When tables were first integrated into HTML, they were only used to present tabular data. All you have to do is count how many cells there should be down and across, and that is how many cells you need for your table.
Remember, not every cell has to have something in it. This is not a spread sheet, this is a page layout. To make cells blank, all you have to do is take away the cell border and put a blank space in it. So you aren’t creating a spread sheet, you are creating a page layout organized in a table. So the next question that FrontPage will ask you is about things like colors and borders. This is where you can choose the properties of each cell to create a more interesting look. Once you have saved your table, you can put text, graphics or even tables within your cells. You will have to experiment, but once you get the hang of it, you will never just use the task pane to design your layouts again.
